Bay’s Edge Hall

The Owners asked us to update this turn of the century home with spectacular views. In response, rooms were reconfigured, fireplaces added, farmhouse style kitchen updated, butler pantry and study rebuilt, family room added, and sunporch updated. We rebuilt the doors to the large stone porch facing the water, and reinstalled the existing front door at an enlarged entry hall with a new portico. The master bedroom has French doors leading to the water view, and a new master bath. Interior design by Alan Reniere Interior Design.

One part of the existing garage was retained and a larger garage rebuilt to match it. The second floor of the garage is a guest house and a first floor billiards room with timber truss ceiling was also created. Extensive work to create terraces and new gardens from the existing site material also helped tie the new work to the exteriors.
