BTGA Sponsors RWU Event; Coverage on SECCM uilding Continuing
On May 4, BTGA was a proud sponsor of Roger Williams University's 8th Annual Construction Management Alumni and Senior Dinner. The school hosts the dinner through its Construction Management Professional Advisory Board (CMPAB), a cooperative planning group that helps prepare students for successful entry into the professional world of construction. This event was a great opportunity for BTGA to meet the new talent entering the construction workforce.
BTGA has also teamed up with RWU as the architectural firm designing the university's new School of Engineering, Computing and Construction Management building on the Bristol, RI, campus. RWU recently announced that the new building would begin construction later this year. The current timeline calls for a start date in late summer or early fall.
Providence Business News has been covering activity on the new school building. In December, the paper noted the approval of the building's construction. That event was also announced on the University's website. In January, the PBN followed with a story on the groundbreaking.
