When the clients wanted “fun”, BTGA worked hard: The firm created an entertainment space that delivers relaxation with a quiet refinement. Previously disparate buildings behind the main house, this group of cottage elements has been joined in a seamless flow. Rhode Island Monthly featured the award-winning amenities in its June 2018 issue.

BTGA designed and renovated the compound to include a guest house with roof deck, treehouse, game room, pool cabana, and an outdoor dining area with overarching pergola. The magazine described the interiors as having “an Arcadian, lodge-like feel while still maintaining an air of sophistication.”

The magazine also awarded Bronze to this project in its 2017 Rhode Island Monthly Design Awards competition. The June digital issue can be found on the magazine’s website. See more of this project here.
