RWU Design Thinking Studio
BTGA is thrilled to be a part of the ongoing transformation of the Roger Williams University campus. One example of such transformation is the recently completed Design Thinking Studio at the RWU Gabelli School of Business. The goal was to revamp an underutilized existing space to create a multi-functional studio for their Executive MBA students. The interior fit-out focuses on flexibility and providing space for students to study, socialize, work, meet, and record podcasts. One major focus was space for students to practice presentations and the preparation of business models for competition. The studio—open 24/7—can be adapted through flexible furniture, from a large group meeting area to a lounge for individual students and many iterations in between. The furniture and equipment, like whiteboards and movable walls, make the space fit for a multitude of learning activities, ideation, and collaboration in a truly innovative design.
