CCRI Ramp is in (COVID Compliant) Construction

The CCRI Warwick Campus Ramp Enclosure is currently in construction and abiding by COVID compliant guidelines. The building was originally designed with a 300’ long entry ramp from the main plaza into the heart of the building.  However, it was exposed to the harsh New England weather and was not ADA accessible.

The renovation includes the addition of an entrance vestibule, the conversion of the existing ramp into an interior conditioned space, and ramp and railing changes that make the ramp accessible.  The exterior façade is comprised of insulated metal wall panels with precast panels forming the base, providing a durable and contextual surface at the ground. To the north, the envelope has greater transparency with a splayed curtain wall system that provides reflected movement along the linear ramp.
