Camp Tutko

As you drive up to this remote cabin, you may think it doesn’t look like much, but don’t be fooled. Though half-hidden in the hill, this seemingly understated cabin opens out to panoramic woodland views, with enriching detailing on the opposite façade. This comfortable retreat has it all, from a plethora of guest rooms for hosting to a soaring stone fireplace that serves as the focal point of the home. The cabin design is set in rustic simplicity with an intent to support traditional family gatherings. It is also designed with outdoor recreation in mind, with unique features such as an ATV garage entrance, specialist sporting gear, and wood storage. Having designed a coastal home for this client previously, we were excited to have the opportunity to adapt to a different environment and build something uniquely fitted for the locale and the client’s recreational activities.
