Craftsman Cottage

This craftsman style home is located on the water in Rhode Island’s West Bay. Integrated stone and timber details create a new identity for an nondescript existing house.

While working with strict zoning requirements and a small footprint, BTGA created a new porch with retractable screens over an existing deck. This porch enhances the possibilities for outdoor living while avoiding blocking the view from inside.

Work by Landscape Architect Erik Bednarek has created a series of outdoor rooms to complement the work done on the exterior of the house. Contractor Jeremy Sherer of Suburban Renewal did a beautiful job realizing all the details in solid cedar.
