There was a lot of possibility, very well hidden, in the house built by a family two generations ago in a RI bay community. Our clients saw the potential for this transformation and made the leap of faith to continue the family tradition in this location. The idea for the remodel of this family beach house was to come up with carefree finishes and an open interior that took better advantage of the light and views available.

The new second floor living room is like the deck on a cruise ship. Beyond the cable rails, only water is visible from the seating group. There is a wide view of the water from the window and doors on two sides. The effect is magical, and the world retreats.
