The New Craftsman

This iconic design was built by a contractor for his own family. BTGA helped to incorporate traditional shingled massing and detailing. It is part of a nine-home development based on characteristic seaside New England neighborhoods and building style.

This house features an open farm kitchen with eating and cooking spaces, a great room, and a detached garage with home office space. Separating the garage from the house allows for better daylighting for the interior and more indoor/outdoor connection.

Winner of the Grand Award for the Custom Residential category in the 2002 Builder's Choice Magazine Awards.
