The RIC Career Development Center utilized an underused alumni lounge and line of offices to develop a highly visible suite where students could access technology to create resumes and apply for jobs, attend career-seeking presentations, and meet with staff to review financial needs. We worked with numerous usergroups and stakeholders to address their needs and worked changing needs into the design throughout the process. The aesthetic design invites potential employers into the College to connect with students and future graduates through a professional palette.

We worked with the Contractor to address unforeseen in-wall conditions in a timely manner and stayed within the Owner’s budget. Construction took place in an occupied building where noise needed to be limited and auditorium schedules needed to be worked around. Occupied spaces were kept clean and safe throughout construction.
