MCPPO Certified

Nate Ginsburg, BTGA Principal, has taken his dedication to public K–12 work to the next level this year by earning his MCPPO (Massachusetts Certified Public Purchasing Official) certification. Our team is now even better equipped to lead school clients through projects that are thoughtfully designed, fully compliant, and managed with transparency and fiscal care.

Why MCPPO matters for schools

BTGA has completed many Massachusetts public bid projects but is now officially certified in the language of public procurement, bid laws, and the intricate procedures that shape school building projects across New England. This allows us to advise our clients to:

  • Comply with State procedural and ethics requirements.

  • Anticipate procurement requirements early.

  • Structure requests for services and bids correctly.

  • Avoid costs and delays due to process missteps.

Nate’s expertise in both design and procurement allows him to understand the needs of school leaders, facilities teams, and municipal officials, and keep everyone moving forward together.

Better outcomes for students and communities

When K–12 projects are led by those who understand both educational design and public purchasing, districts enjoy a seamless journey from big ideas to ribbon cutting. With Nate’s MCPPO training, every project can stay true to educational goals while meeting purchasing requirements and bringing lasting value to the communities we serve.
